Welcome to Socool Music!

Socool is a music producer and DJ based in Vancouver, BC. She has built a reputation for blending a wide range of genres in her productions, including ambient, downtempo, jungle, IDM, trip-hop, and jazz. Her music often evokes the nostalgic soundscapes of the mid-to-late 1990s.

Socool’s work is notable for its versatility, seamlessly moving from laid-back ambient textures to more energetic blends of electronic breakbeats. Her early career involved DJ sets that became a staple in Vancouver’s underground electronic scene, when she was one of the hosts of the Shadow Jugglers radio show on CiTR 101.9 fm and played at such legendary BC summer music festivals as Soundwave in Ucluelet and Diversity on Texada Island. Her music has been praised for its lush, introspective qualities, with recent singles “Eternal Return” and “Blow Out” receiving support from BBC Radio 6 Music.
